Opened in August 2014, the PinnacleHealth Ortenzio Cancer Center expanded oncology services to our community. At the PinnacleHealth Ortenzio Cancer Center we treat our patients like family. As one of the largest providers of cancer care in the region, we understand that a cancer diagnosis is just the beginning of a journey that will affect each person and his or her loved ones in a unique way. The infusion area of the Ortenzio Cancer Center was underwritten by a $200,000 grant from the Josiah W. and Bessie H. Kline Foundation. Designed with input from former cancer patients, the area features twelve infusion bays in an open, inviting setting, and has been built to serve as a welcoming and calming environment that appeals to the senses in all aspects of décor, building design, and lighting. The Ortenzio Cancer Center is essential in meeting the growing health care needs of our community, including cancer screening, prevention, treatment and follow-up care.
Removing the barriers to care and comfort means bringing first-class care where it is needed, and expected. Since opening, the Kline Foundation Infusion Area has provided services to over 14,000 patients in just two short years. Thanks the Josiah W. and Bessie H. Kline Foundation for their leadership and support in helping patients receive the care they need.
